I am Kareem Eltouny, and I conduct research at the intersection of structural engineering, robotics, and artificial intelligence. My work focuses on developing and implementing innovative solutions for structural health monitoring, structural inspections, and human-robot collaboration. I leverage techniques such as computer vision, machine learning, and uncertainty quantification to improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of critical infrastructure and robotic systems.

My recent projects include developing vision transformers for structural visual inspection, vibration-based structural health monitoring, and uncertainty-aware human motion prediction for robot motion planning. I am also actively involved in research related to nondestructive inspection technology and fitness-for-service assessments of structures.
